We all loved the movie Transformers and Bumble Bee found a soft spot in each of us. Honestly, this car is outright sexy. It has the aggressive stance that its heritage demands and a V8 engine with 300kw of in your face power spitting out of the back wheels.

This Camaro is a WOW car and its headed to SA soon!

Two engine variations are scheduled to hit our shores, the “entry-level” V6 and the “big-kahuna” V8. No official sprint timing is available just yet, but preliminary runs peg the V8 at under 5 seconds.

The V6 model uses the same engine from the much acclaimed Cadillac CTS and punches 225kw of power through its perfectly balanced 50/50 weight distributed body.

GM, we want prices and where do we sign to book one of these babies?

Here in the States is going to be priced to compete with the Ford Mustang, so probably starting at $19k for the V6 and then $24k+ for the V8.

Saleen customized the chassis for the film, so there's a rumor flying around that they may be creating their own version with a twin-supercharged V8 cranking out 600bhp.

V6 is better for consumption, V8 is better for awesomeness!

I want this car, it's super sexy!

@Jared - It's amazing how cheap these cars are in the US. By the time we get it, it should cost us at LEAST 38k.
A Saleen version would absolutely rock! NUmbers woul dbe limited though, so expect that version to at least 50 grand or so.

@ Saul - Yeah mate, although all sense of reason is left in a corner somewhere. The V8 is definitely the one! I would sell me current ride for this even though i know it doesn't make sense to be driving in traffic with this baby!

And I'm grinning again, cos I'm thinking about sprinting along the N1 with no number plates :D
