Converse just changed the design of the Chuck Taylor!

Holy mother of all things holy! They’ve just announced the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star 2.┬áThe current design was dropped in 1917 and has remained completely unchanged for a smidge under 100 years. THAT’s why its a big deal!

Most of us probably own a couple of pairs (some of us own a few dozen pairs) of the iconic classic design of the “Chuck!” and we all know that while its great for casual everyday wear, they are not “all that” comfy as walking shoes, so the fact that they now ship standard with Nike’s Lunarlon insoles to fix that issue, is probably going to mean that we’ll start seeing them in more places and worn by many more.

Other design changes include updated materials, a rubber rip support at the back, new lace loops and a slightly revised rear sole logo. Expect them to be available online for about $70 for the low and $75 for the high-tops next week Tuesday (28th July 2015).
