So we have all been expecting it. Don’t act surprised as you read this, because we were all warned a few weeks ago when petrol went up by 60 odd cents.
But what you weren’t expecting is the 66 & 68 cents bump! (Cue your shocked look!)

With it going up on the 1st of April, you are bound to think that perhaps Trevor Manuel a.k.a Trev does have a sense of humour, but as soon as you realize that we are looking at R49.50 extra to fill a standard 75 litre petrol tank, you will ditch that smirk for a frown and start shaking your head.
