Android In China

On the back of a major #Fail for Apple’s iPhone in China, HTC has been very adamant to get the G1 into China by mid year 2009. The Google powered handset can already be found on the streets of China for about $580 and with the major uptake on the streets already, it only makes sense for HTC to bring it legally to the market!

And when it launches, I will come visit and we go buy one to play with ;)

Im SO excited about Android. The location based stuff that it can do, the silo browsing functionality is certainly not an idea that fell from the sky... im almost certain that Android is built on that concept!

@Fox - Early next year you can expect it launching on the Vodacom network. There are a few devices floating around from geeks who bought them on eBay. Watch this space, I'm VERY interested in it and I will keep my eye on developments!
