• 10 million fans of pages daily
• 8 billion minutes spent on Facebook daily
• 70% of users engage with applications built on the platform
• more than 1 million developers use the Facebook platform
• more than 350 000 applications run on the Facebook platform currently
• 14 million videos uploaded monthly
• 3 million events managed each month
• 65 million users log in via the mobile phone and are twice as active as desktop users

These figures are VERY impressive and would undoubtedly get most online marketers salivating at the prospect of using Facebook as a marketing channel.
