UPDATE 10/11/2011:

So I’ve just received info on another 2012 bursary, this time its by MIH, the Naspers Internet power house that support a unit within Stellenbosch University called MIH Media Lab. These guys do some pretty cool R&D work and have access to the very best resources in the industry in terms of contacts, money, technology, conferences, etc.

There are currently both Masters and Doctorate bursaries available. More information can be found on the MIH Media Lab site.
