Johannesburg and it’s dodgy beggars – Video!

Here is a video that had me amazed. It’s of a guy pretending not to have legs and begging at traffic light in Houghton, on Glenhove Road in Johannesburg. Everything seems legit, until a security officer gets him on film with healthy legs.

Although its very easy for most of us to support some these beggars and I too do so quite often, this just makes me rethink where, when and to who should I be giving charity to? While it’s easy to say that I should make donations at an organisation, sometimes the R5 that I have in my pocket is easier to give to the peson right in front of me, than me having to go through the admin of finding a charity. Anyway, watch the video of this skelm!

Nando’s Last Dictator Standing ad!

Nando’s “Last Dictator Standing” has been a brilliantly successful campaign from the Peri-Peri Chicken brand. The video has successfully managed to score posts from Huffington Post and TIME.com.

I was fortunate enough to score a link to my Nando’s “Secrecy Bill” campaign post from Time.com.

Julius Malema to Step Down as Youth League President

29 March 2011

After much thought I Julius Malema have decided to step down as ANC Youth league President.

There are a few reasons why this is essential, namely:

I have brought my party the ANC in to disripute

I have disrespected my elders and have made a fool out of myself

I promote Nationalization even though i have no concerpt of how it works or its blacklash to the economy

I promote my own agenda over my country’s and parties

I promote the singing racist songs to promote violence and un-rest in the country

I do not consider youth issues

It is with great hope that I step down and welcome a new era in the ANCYL, one where thought and vison inspire our country rather then racism and personal ambition destroy it.

When is too far, too far?

This device is for all the talentless useless folk out there who can’t crack an egg. It’s no genius feat on its own, but apparently its just too much to ask for from some.

They retail for $15 and will help take the crunch out of your omelette forever.

Talking of omelettes, you should try my favourite home-made omelette:

Ingredients:

3 beaten eggs

3 tablespoons of fresh milk

chopped onion

chopped chilli

grated sweetmilk cheese

chicken strips/mince/any other cooked meat that u think will work

Salt & Pepper

Butter

Method:

In a little butter, fry the chilli and onion a little bit

Mix the milk into the egg and beat properly

Throw the egg into the pan on top of the sizzling chilli & onion and spread the egg out on the pan evenly

Use a spatula to even out the distributionof the onion and the chilli

Add Salt and Pepper to taste

Allow the egg to cook a little bit. Add your chicken strips and top it with grated cheese

Close the omelette into a half-moon and cook on both sides

Serve with Sweet Thai Chilli Sauce and toast.
